Is a plan to move to Oshawa Ontario in your near future?  If so you will be happy to hear there are plans in the works to revitalize the harbour front.  A recommendation was given to the federal government to make the Oshawa harbour front a protected area.  Residents are hoping to restore its beauty and protect the area for future residents to enjoy for years and years to come.

New York Water Taxi Makes a Difference

A Good Year For Brampton

2007 proved to be a pretty decent year for the City of Brampton.  Despite the looming shift cut at the local Chrysler plant the real estate market has hit a high note.  There was a notable increase in housing developments and over two billion building permits were issued.  Brampton will see not only more residential homes in 2008 but more condominium towers and office space opening up.

Toronto Traffic Heads Another Way

There once was a time when looking down at Toronto during rush hour you would see car upon car lined up heading in to the city.  Many have noticed however, that traffic leading out of the city has become more and more congested.  That is because many Toronto and area residents are now reverse commuting from downtown Toronto to outside suburban centres, like Mississauga.  The very limited and costly office space in Toronto has forced many companies to move further a field.

Condo Crazy In North York

When it comes to building condominium towers the city Of North York is high on the list.  These massive structures filled the skyline in 2007 and more are slated for development this year.  Emery Village will soon see a new subdivision with over 300 homes, a new grocery store and more retail space.  One of the biggest changes so far is the redesign of the Don Mills Centre.  The old mall was demolished and a new outdoor centre is in development.
