Bowmanville Is Expanding

The town of Bowmanville is on the list as another town rapidly expanding in growth of construction of new homes and businesses.  A town that was once known as a relatively quiet town now finds itself dealing with “rush hour” traffic on some of its main streets.  Many citizens of Bowmanville are finding that the streets in the towns centre are ill prepared when big box stores such as Home Depot move in to the area.

A New Look For Mississauga?

 Mississauga city councilors were presented with a potential development project to transform the city’s waterfront.  The development presented was reminiscent of Chicago’s famous Navy Pier.  The councilors were asked to picture an ambient waterfront on Lakeview with possibly an aquarium, museum, even Ferris wheel.  Also in to consideration is more than two hundred acres of prime waterfront real estate.

Brampton’s Renaissance Finally Gets A Green Light

The much anticipated construction of the condominium tower in Brampton called Renaissance can now begin.  After a year long delay due to structural revisions the development is starting.  The tower will set on George Street in Brampton’s downtown core and will consist of twenty seven stories and a podium with over four thousand square feet of prime retail space.

An Agent With A Twist

  With the super hot real estate market in Toronto and the surrounding areas, some real estate agents are going above and beyond their usual call of duty to attract clients and get new business.  More real estate agents find themselves being asked favours and requests that are generally outside their normal job descriptions.  For example, one agent helped his client pack up one hundred pairs of shoes to remove them from the front entrance of the houses they were trying to sell.  This is not something agents would like to do on a regular basis but with the competition so strong some are going the extra mile.

Looking For Something Different?

 Stacked town-homes are becoming more popular as their affordability and efficiency become better known to the public.  This style of town home is great for entry level home buyers looking for the maintenance free aspect of a condo but not the box style high rise living of a condominium tower.  Stacked town-homes are slowly weaving the way into the housing market for more upscale buyers as well.
