By Rob Parker at 12:59 pm on April 22, 2008 | No comments

In southwest Brampton developers will soon begin construction of a new subdivision of homes.  The finished result will feature 93 single detached homes.  There are 14 floor plans to choose from and each home will have different features but only 27 lots remain unpurchased.  When you consider that a home like these in Mississauga would cost roughly eighty to one hundred thousand more, the homes will not sit unsold for long.

Affordability In Oshawa

By Rob Parker at 8:34 am on April 21, 2008 | No comments

It is no secret that the closer you get to Toronto the higher the price tag is on real estate.  This is why many home buyers decide to look outside the greater Toronto area.  If now is the right time for you to buy a house or condo you may want to consider Oshawa.  Oshawa offers the least expensive homes in the GTA.  The average price of an Oshawa home is lower than the average home located within the GTA and significantly lower than a home right in Toronto.

Balconies Are A Great Feature

By Rob Parker at 7:35 am on April 18, 2008 | No comments

When an individual is looking to buy a condominium it is not just granite countertops and floor plan designs they are considering.  For many a balcony or terrace is also an important feature.  Buyers like an outdoor space where they can relax and enjoy their view, some use the space to entertain and others to do a bit of gardening.  Often condo buyers are retired couples downsizing from their homes with back yards and they appreciate a nice terrace where they can grow plants and flowers.

More Options in Burlington

By Rob Parker at 7:24 am on | No comments

A builder in Burlington Ontario is catching the eye of first time buyers by building smaller options in a subdivision being developed with primarily single and some semi-detached homes.   Forty seven town homes will be available to individuals ready to buy their first home that don’t need the size but need the affordability.  Each town home will feature large windows to let the light in and double entrance doors.  The developer hopes to create a neighbourhood with a nice variety of different housing.
