Downtown Appeals To Young Buyers

By Rob Parker at 9:02 am on June 11, 2008 | No comments

Statistics have shown us that a large majority of buyers of all the condominiums downtown Toronto are young urban couples and/or single professionals. Affordibility may not be the only reason these buyers decided on the condo lifestyle. Young couples have a more active social life usually and they do not want a one or two hour commute to interfere with this time. They also so not want the burden of property taxes, yard work, and home repairs. A condo offers a home without a lot of hassle. Even with condos there can be monthly bills, such as storage and parking fees, however this type of lifestyle is still much more afforadable for first time buyers like these young couples compared to downtown Toronto homes.

Family Homes Found In Cambridge

By Rob Parker at 8:57 am on | 1 Comment

How many of us wouldn’t want a tranquil home setting surrounded by nature but within minutes from city life? My guess would be not many. A new development of homes by Mattamy in Cambridge has managed to find the perfect location to offer potential buyers just that. A collection of homes and townhomes will be built around Mill Pond. Many of the homes will feature wide lots, some facing the water front and many backing on to green spaces. Large established trees surround the community and other lots will feature crescent shaped lots. Cambridge is an up and coming city and this new subdivision of homes would make a great place to raise a family.
