Family Homes Found In Cambridge
How many of us wouldn’t want a tranquil home setting surrounded by nature but within minutes from city life? My guess would be not many. A new development of homes by Mattamy in Cambridge has managed to find the perfect location to offer potential buyers just that. A collection of homes and townhomes will be built around Mill Pond. Many of the homes will feature wide lots, some facing the water front and many backing on to green spaces. Large established trees surround the community and other lots will feature crescent shaped lots. Cambridge is an up and coming city and this new subdivision of homes would make a great place to raise a family.

Although I understand there was some controversy over the area, I must admit, having a home with that local would certainly give one a certain peace when relaxing. To increase your relaxation and comfort, I would strongly suggest you hire a house inspector to monitor the construction and save you peace of mind when you move in. Mattamy Homes sold me a house without electrical power and the furnace was illegally (code) wired to the unoccupied house next door. Both an unethical way to sell a home and potentially lifethreatening to my family, which included two small children. Don’t expect the government to protect you. The Town of Oakville inspector passed this furnace even though his director is on record stating he would not give an occupancy permit to such a house. Remember – protect your investment by investing up front to ensure you get what you paid for.
