Quaint Village In Scarborough

By Rob Parker at 8:57 am on June 20, 2008 | No comments

Not everyone wants to live in the middle of the hustle and bustle of a large city like Toronto. Many of us would like to live within close proximity to the city’s amenities but far enough away in a neighbourhood that is more quiet and surrounded by trees. A little area in Scarborough called the Guildwood Village offers a little piece of enchantment for its residents and those seeking a quieter lifestyle. The area has seen a steady increase in buyers because many young families want a home that gives them a nice sized yard for entertaining and room for their children to play. The slightly older mid century style homes have an affordable price tag compared to other homes available around the greater Toronto area.

Individuals are keeping a very close on Canada’s economy and watching what is happening to the real estate market in the United States is definitely on everyone’s mind.

Finding A Condo In A Crowd

By Rob Parker at 8:13 am on | No comments

With the number of condominiums under construction or being sold right now in the City of Toronto and its surrounding area it is hard to pick one that really stands out from the crowd. Many condos, if not most are offering luxurious finishes, spas, communal kitchens, retail shops and more. Some builders are consulting with designers to give the condominium tower a trendy flavour. One contractor is using the condos close proximity to the lake for inspiration. The interior will be decorated with colours and styles popular to South Beach Miami. Bright neon and pastels will greet the eye and a sun and sand theme will adorn the walls. The condo should give people a laid back vacation type of feeling when they enter. The designer and builder hope that the idea will attract buyers who are looking for something not so ordinary.
