Seattle Washington home owners are decidedly unhappy to hear that the real estate market has slowed considerable, especially in the Southeast area of Seattle. Statistics have shown that recently the average home for sale in southeast Seattle will sit on the market for approximately six months before selling. Definitely not good news for those trying to sell their home. The news is a little helpful to those looking to buy because it generally means more inventory and competitive pricing. While you would expect home owners to jump at the lower pricing, many are much more cautious due to the real estate hardships in the US this last year or more. The foreclosures and higher levels of difficulties for getting loans is causing many to take the process much more slowly.
