Home Prices Have Dropped

The Toronto Real Estate Board is reporting that existing home prices have dropped not only from last year but even two years ago. While this makes great news for those in the market to buy a home in the city of Toronto it is definitely not great news for those looking to sell. Statistics show that the average price of a home this past October was down ten percent from the prices one year ago. The average listing price for a Toronto home now sits around three hundred and seventy thousand. Many real estate experts believe the decrease in demand is due to buyer uncertainty. The stock market, interest rates and the real estate market crisis in the US is on every Canadians mind.
