Housing Market Is Down In Toronto

After such a great year in the real estate market the experts knew all good things must come to an end sooner or later and it seems they were right. The past four months have shown a notable cooling off in the sale of Toronto homes and condos. The sale of exsisting homes in the month of April was down by seven percent compared to figures from the same time last year. With the better spring weather approaching real estate experts and home owners looking to sell hope the sunny days will bring the buyers out.

Start In The Right Direction

The city of Brampton wants to offer its new residents a jump start in a good direction. Under a new government program called the Newcomer Settlement Program (NSP) people just moving in to a new city will be guided in adjusting to their new community and starting the new life. Brampton’s new residents will have access to job finding workshops, access to skills training and more.

Mississauga Ranks 11th In Canada

If you are considering a move to Mississauga Ontario you may be very interested in results from a poll just conducted by Money Sense. Researchers there took in several different factors such as employment rate, air quality, crime statistics, household incomes and weather to help them decide which city was the best to live in Canada. Out of 154 different cities country wide Mississauga ranked 11th.
