Finding A Condo In A Crowd

By Rob Parker at 8:13 am on June 17, 2008 | No comments

With the number of condominiums under construction or being sold right now in the City of Toronto and its surrounding area it is hard to pick one that really stands out from the crowd. Many condos, if not most are offering luxurious finishes, spas, communal kitchens, retail shops and more. Some builders are consulting with designers to give the condominium tower a trendy flavour. One contractor is using the condos close proximity to the lake for inspiration. The interior will be decorated with colours and styles popular to South Beach Miami. Bright neon and pastels will greet the eye and a sun and sand theme will adorn the walls. The condo should give people a laid back vacation type of feeling when they enter. The designer and builder hope that the idea will attract buyers who are looking for something not so ordinary.

Condos In The Middle Of It All

By Rob Parker at 1:01 pm on June 4, 2008 | No comments

A set of condominium buildings being developed right in the city of Etobicoke can offer each owner the best of both worlds for many. The buildings situated right along a large ravine and connected to a park also faces to the large Sherway Gardens mall on the other side. With such a great location, the condo owner can walk to the mall to do some shopping, dine at a local restaurant and use the other services available. On the other hand, when the owner wants to escape the hectic life he/she can take a walk in the park or stroll along the ravine. The buildings will also offer lake views which can provide a great source of relaxation after a stressful work day. Some in the market today like a condo building with a good location to a highway so the commute to work is made easier while others who choose not to drive like a location with easy walking or bus routes to local amenities. This location has both since it is ideally located right next to a large urban shopping centre and very close to the QEW and highway 427

Driving through Etobicoke you will see a cluster of nineteen buildings of condominiums of which house approximately thirteen thousand people.  While the urban density is good these tower neighbourhoods outside of the GTA have room for improvements.  For many, the easiest method of transportation is still a car which is a faux pas in a era when everyone aims to go green.
