Milton Remains An Affordable Option

By Rob Parker at 1:07 pm on July 24, 2008 | No comments

The once small town of Milton Ontario is not quite so small anymore. The city has seen a population increase of over seventy percent since 2001. You may be asking why so many people are making the move to Milton. So far the city has maintained a small town community feel compared to some of the neighbouring communities. Many enjoy living in a smaller less busy area that is within close driving distance to the big city. Residents also like Milton’s close proximity to highway access for work commuting purposes. Nature lovers are also appreciative of its close proximity to the Niagara escarpment. From an affordability factor, Milton remains a cheaper option compared to nearby Mississauga, Oakville and Burlington.
